Member of the Month: Will Webber

Member of the Month for July 2025. Will Webber. Proudly representing Maidstone Harriers in his triathlon challenge

Member of the Month, July 2025
Will Webber

We’ve chosen Will Webber as our July Member of the Month, not only because of his own achievements, which are amazing but because of his contributions and dedication to the club.

Even though he’s super fast, Will can often be found pacing others to help them chase their PBs. His enthusiasm is infectious, rallying the team for events like the Medway Mile and already getting everyone excited for the next one. Half Ironman incoming?

Meet Will

Always Chasing a New Challenge

Will’s recently embraced a new challenge, taking on Triathlons with the club. And can you believe it – his debut could not have been more impressive, taking home 1st place on his first attempt!

But what really stands out is how he’s carried that momentum forward, showing up in the clubs black and green tri-kit with that energy and encouragement that gets others involved. Will doesn’t just chase challenges – he brings people with him.

Standout Qualities and Contributions

Will brings an incredible mix of drive, generosity and team spirit to the Harriers. Here are just a few reasons why he stands out:

  • Selfless pacer
Will regularly supports fellow runners by pacing them to new PBs, showing he’s as invested in their progress as his own.
  • Contagious enthusiasm
Whether it’s club training, race days or special events like the Medway Mile, Will’s energy gets people involved and excited.
  • Natural motivator
He inspires others to set bold goals and has already encouraged members to consider stepping up to their first Half Ironman.
  • Strong debut in triathlon
Will entered his first triathlon and took first place!!!, proving he’s not afraid to take on something new and push his limits.
  • Visible club spirit
Always easy to spot in the white club kit or the black and green tri-suit, Will shows what it means to wear the Harriers colours with pride.
  • Community mindset
He values the support and camaraderie of the club, describing it as a place where people genuinely want to see each other succeed.
  • Love for the sport
Will speaks passionately about the challenge and adventure of running, and the sense of purpose it gives him.
